Paracord Bracelets

I have started on another adventure.....paracord bracelets.  I girl in our ward started making these and I thought that would be a great way to keep my hands busy at night and to winde down from the day.  I have been experimenting with putting these cute beads in the middle of the bracelet.  Addi and Remi love theirs.  I am thinking about selling them too.

Adults and kids $8.00 each or 2 for $15
Beads are an extra $1 each.

Let me know if you are interested in one.  I have tons of colors to choose from.  You can choose up to 2 colors per bracelet.  I will work on some more samples and get some pictures posted.

 Plain with no beads.

With beads.....

Homecoming Week 2011

Monday was the start of Homecoming Week here in Evanston.  At school on Monday was Crazy Hair Day, of course!  Payton was so excited to do something extreme....not  unusual for her.  Addi really could care less I think.  Here are the pictures of the things we came up with.

Payton had a bowl of Fruit Loops and a spoon in her hair......

Addi's was simple and sweet, 4 pony tails and bending straws tied around them.
She was totally happy with it.

Taylor Swift Concert....

Last night Payton and I went to the Taylor Swift concert in SLC with some dear friends.  Payton had no idea this was coming.  I found her running to her after school program and told her "go get your stuff.....we are going to see Taylor Swift in SLC."  Her jaw dropped and she ran to her locker to get her back pack.  Off we headed down the canyon where we met out good friends at Benihana's for dinner.  I have only been to Benihana's once and that was probably 10 years ago.  Payton had never been there and didn't know what to think of it.  She couldn't even figure out what to order.  She is a pretty picky eater.  She and I both order beef.  She said it was really good.  After dinner we walked to the Energy Solutions Arena.  The crowds were huge (of course).  We thought about getting some t-shirts before the show but the lines where very long.  Robin and I waited until the concert started going and then we snuck out and got the girls t-shirts.  The concert was long and by the time it was coming to an end, Payton was completely wiped out.  So was I!  We didn't get home until after 12:30am but I still got her up and off to school she went.

 Me, Payton, Robin and Shelbie

Well tomorrow is Homecoming here in town.  Payton will be walking with her school and Addi will be riding on a float with her dance studio.  Remi and I will was chaperoning Addi on the float.  I will make sure to get some pictures and post them soon.

I hope everyone is well.

WOW.....

Wow has it really been 2 YEARS since I have posted to this blog?  That is hard to believe.  I have 2 other blogs that I post to all the time but this one has been very neglected.  Well, that has got to change.  The majority of our family lives out of town and so I want to keep you all up to date on the happenings with the Woodward Family.  This summer flew by in the blink of an eye.

We did a lot of drag racing.  Brian and Payton had lots of fun driving their cars.  We didn't get any sitters this year so the little girls went with us to the track too.  Payton ran the fastest she has ever gone this summer, so did Brian.  Just last Saturday, September 10, 2011 Brian ran his best run yet, 4.51 seconds in the 1/8 mile.  It was incredible.  I will have to try and upload the videos to this blog so you can see them.

The girls and I were able to got to AZ again and stay with Grandma Evelyn for 2 weeks.  We did a lot of swimming.  All 3 girls took swim lessons again and improved greatly!

They had lots of fun and we are looking forward to next summer.

We also were able to make a last minute run over to the beach house in WA.  Grandpa Kenny and Grandma Debbie were so sweet to let us come on such short notice.  The girls had a blast playing in the crab pools at the beach and we enjoyed visiting with grandpa and grandma.  We wish the beach was closure so we could go more often.  How many more years until retirement???

The weather was awesome and we got a lot of family time in.  Even the dogs had a blast at the beach....  maybe to much fun!
